A Day In The Park | OCTOBER 25th 2016

It’s on again! A Day in the Park is on Tuesday October 25th from 10am – 12:30PM at Wahroonga Park. Each year, a few Uniting Churches (Berowra, Wahroonga, Pymble, Gordon, South Turramurra, Thornleigh and a few others) organise a free fun day for preschoolers at Wahroonga Park to celebrate International Children’s Week (supported by Ku-ring-gai council).

I Survived Schoolies | OCTOBER 20th 2016

Roseville Uniting Church Invitation to “I Survived Schoolies”. Students and parents are invited to a seminar with Claudine Alame, NSW Coordinator of Red Frogs Australia, who comes with lots of practical advice about having a great Schoolies experience with your friends including making good decisions and staying safe.

Stir-up Sundays

Pymble Uniting Church is again organising Christmas pudding-making sessions at the end of October and in November (download flyer). Great fun and a really delicious, traditional and fool-proof pudding, blessed by our minister, Steve Aynsley. Bring a friend along and join us in our hall for a Sunday afternoon (2-4 pm). Children are welcome as helpers. Tea and coffee is served afterwards with a taste of the pudding. Bookings close 30 September 2016

Confined Hearts Project | Roseville Uniting Church

Roseville Uniting Church is attempting to facilitate a combined project (with other faith groups on the north shore) to demonstrate our concern and care for the treatment of asylum seekers.

Interfaith September at Gordon Uniting Church

Saturday, 17th September | Messy Church. Some Muslim families will join us, along with Ravenswood families, to share around the theme of ‘Journeys’ .

Sunday, 25th September | Dr. Ibrahim, the Grand Mufti, and Maha Abdo, from the Muslim Women’s Association, will talk about Islam.

UN Peace Day Prayer | SEPTEMBER 21st 2016

Everyone invited to a very special, annual Interfaith Prayer Service held to mark the UN Peace Day. 11am Wed 21st Sept. In the main hall, Lindfield Uniting Church, 454 Pacific Highway (cnr Provincial Rd). Bring friends, family, neighbours of all faiths. Peace songs will be sung. Candles will be lit. Choirs from Ravenwood, Knox and Newington will perform. Representatives from many faiths will be attending & reading peace prayers. Peace bell will be rung at 12 noon. Refreshements will follow.
